Stacy W. Taylor - Founding Member, Partner

Mr. Taylor's primary duties include investment strategy, management team evaluation and negotiating and structuring transactions and investment exits.  Mr. Taylor is a successful entrepreneur and strategic advisor with over 25 years of experience.  He maintains domestic and international holdings in a wide range of business enterprises including energy, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and consumer distribution companies.  Mr. Taylor is also a principal of the Ashcroft Group Consulting Services (AGCS).  AGCS advises on matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.  Since its inception, the firm has provided advisory services on over $40 billion in mergers, acquisitions, and transactions internationally.  Mr. Taylor also serves as the Chairman of Revelation, LP, leading a highly specialized team of business strategists and litigation scientists advising Fortune 500 companies in complex, multi-front engagements involving strategic initiatives, litigation, public policy and stakeholder matters.  Since 1999, Mr. Taylor and his team at Revelation have provided strategic guidance for trial, arbitration and settlement resolutions of litigation claims in excess of $85 billion.  In 1988 Mr. Taylor founded The Standard Group of Companies ("SGI") to underwrite and issue performance and payment bonds to contractors who worked on industry diverse government and private contracts.  Under his leadership, SGI grew to 146 policy-issuing agency offices represented in 48 states and ranked consistently in the highest quartile of the top 100 surety underwriters in the United States.  Mr. Taylor sold The Standard Group to a large, publicly-traded national insurance company in 1998.  Mr. Taylor also serves as a senior advisor to CEOs and Boards of Directors of Fortune 500 companies and serves on the Boards of various private companies, charitable foundations and non-profit organizations and numerous academic and philanthropic organizations.  He and his wife reside in Houston, Texas.
